I learned a new word today. "DUSTIFICATION."

If this is the real deal, ....it is truly .....the only evidence I have ever seen so far that even comes close to debunking the thermite conclusion.

A: No. He openly announced the signing of a bill overwhelmingly passed by Congress that slightly revises a 1971 law against trespassing into areas under Secret Service protection.

Personally Obama wouldn't give me the time of day... Would he stop me from protesting personally? No, he wouldn't; but the Secret Service sure would and being a government agency they would be infringing on my first amendment rights. Anybody with a half a brain knows you can't storm the Whitehouse or Congress or jump up on a podium and protest, but if I was across the street and the SS decided it wouldn't be in the best interest of the prez or some congress person or some other political bozo; then that's a totally different story. I have the right to peaceably assemble, and speak my mind. No government agency or police department has the right to override that, period!

The 1971 law required a "state of mind" infraction. In other words you had to act "willfully and knowingly". This addition ups the ante. There doesn't have to be the "state of mind" before the Secret Service can detain you. You could be five blocks away and if the SS decides you're being a "pain in their ass", off ya go. I don't know about you, but I don't think that's what the founding fathers had in mind. It’s interesting, that the ACLU is keeping a very close eye on this bill.

I wouldn't have even known about this legislation if this story hadn't come out. So, though they claim that it wasn't signed in secret, .....I would somewhat beg to differ depending on your definition of the word "secret".  In otherwords, ......how many of you folks out there in the general population were actually aware that this was being signed at the time it took place?

Nobody? Oh, ....okay. Well, ...........................there you go. :))

What's that tell you? I know what it tells me! It tells me to watch out for the men in black. And that Factcheck is full of sh!t too!

If you are at a protest and the secret service is there in secret, how the hell do you know if you are breaking the law until you get tazed, thrown to the ground, cuffed, and halled off in a squad car? And, .........do they still even have to read you your rights? :O

You know, ....I used to take some measure of pride in knowing what my civil rights were at pretty much any given time. The fact is that if I were to be asked today if I know what my rights are or the boundries and extent to which I am protected by the constitution and the bill of rights, .....in all honestly, ......I'd have to say "no".

I find this to be rather disconcerting.

Outgoing Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has  explained in a leaving interview with the WSJ why he's uncomfortable with accusations that bankers haven't been punished enough for the financial crisis. "A huge part of what happened across the system was just a mixture of ignorance and greed, or hope over experience, and not illegal. Most financial crises are not caused by fraud or abuse."
